Upsetters (Michael Fugett, Johnnie Crowlins, Johnny Ray, Andrew (Jr. Boy) Jones 1970

Timothy McNealy
Dr. Mack

The youngest of nine children, Timothy was born with the interest and the talent to become the best in the field of music. He began playing at age seven and amazed all who heard him play. His first piano was an old
upright given to him by his mothers employer where she worked as a maid. During Timothy's youth technology was still in its infant stage. At night he
would listen to the Horace man (Horace Man Silver) on WLAC Nashville Tennessee by placing a transistor radio powered by a nine volt battery under his pillow each night. This prevented disturbing others and
the pillow provided a better sound. Between the age of fourteen and fifteen he performed his first TV show in a group named Mike (Michael Fugett)and the six sensations. He also learned much from the late James Bubba Fagan a professional
trumpet player from Sherman Texas. In 1966 he signed with Abnak Music Enterprises with Bobby Patterson and the Mustangs. While with the Mustangs he played slide trombone, Hammond Organ, and would switch to drums on some songs plus sung backup. Timothy's voice is on the track I'm Leroy I'll take her. He also wrote how funky can you get but received no credit for it. Actions such as this soon lead to the Mustangs being disbanded. In 1970 Timothy
created Shawn Records as an avenue to produce his own material. From this venture came tracks entitled Will you be there, easy easy easy, K C Stomp, Funky Movement ll, What going on, Do It and What Would You Do written and produced with a radio/artist named Mr. B and many others to mention
Sagittarius Black which has help move him into Stardom. Just meeting him one would know his love for music is passionate and dedicated. He now owns his own Recording studio and a rack full of keyboard, drum machines and the list
goes on and on. Timothy still performs regularly with his childhood friend Michael Fugett who still kicks solid bass, long time friend Lou Hampton lead Vocals and with an outstanding guitarist by the name of Jackie Don Loe and
a young music major playing drums name Darren Denney. These guys(THE SOUL REVUE BAND will blow you away with their solid sound.
