Timothy's career started in 1959 with his childhood friend Michael Fugett. His family moved from Bonham Texas to Sherman Texas where he became a member of Michael's band (mike and the six sensation). Later in Sherman he work with the late James (bubber Fagin), this helprd him gain the experience needed to make it to the big time. Timothy moved to Dallas in 1966 where he united with Bobby Patterson who needed a band to work with him at Abnak Records (abnak music enterprize). Timothy suggested his old band members which lead to Michael Fugett/bass and Ronnie Brewster /drums were signed. Billy (sweet pea) Thomas, Andrew (Jr boy) Jones and Robert (bobby) Simpson were the last members to be added the new band (THE MUSTANGS) In 1966 we all signed with Abnak Music Enterprize and recorded on one of the company labels (Jetstar). The company bands were The Five Americans, Bobby Patterson & the Mustangs, and John & Robin and the InCrowd. In 1968 the Mustangs were dis-banded because the band felt that they were not recieving the financial benfit of their services. Most of the band went their ways and remained friends but were not allowed to use the Mustang name. They formed a new group with the name Upsetter. Now playing the major clubs because their fans knew them and continued to give their support. For the next five years Timothy, Michael/bass, Andrew/guitar and Billy/trumpet rocked their fans with great music. In 1972 Timothy went solo and remains until March 2008 when he decided to retire from personal appearances. Now days you can find him in his 24 track private studio. He is still writing and recording and all the tracks still have the R&B feel.
