Retired from personal appearances as of March 1, 2009
Begun a ninety day probation period on August the 8th 2009 as the Burning Bush Baptist Church Minister of music. This position will involve training and rehearsing several choirs and preparing a choir for recording. The recording project is scheduled to begin in January 2010. At this time Shawn Records new recording studio will be finished and ready to launch new projects. Musicians expected to work out of the Shawn Studio are Ernie Johnson(vocals),Ron Neal (vocals) Yarboro and Peoples (vocals and Instruments)Rudolph Sparks(Bass) Big Bo (Drums) Andrew Jrboy Jones (Guitar) Criss Jones (Bass)Michael Fugett(former Mustang/Bass)Lou Hampton, Leon Hampton both vocals and many other local and national artist.

I have finished the building of SHAWN RECORDS new studio. As the minister of music for the Burning Bush Baptist Church, I will launch a CD project beginning Febuary 2010 that will take 6-8 months. This CD will feature members of all choirs of the Bush family. Songs will vairy from contemporary to traditional. I will write lyrics and music for all tracks.The Burning Bush Church is located at 4943 Bonnie View Road, Dallas Texas with Rev. J Edward Moses Brown, Sr. Founder and Pastor.
